Q: I am wondering about the slownesses I meet in this program. Is there anything I can do to speed it up ?

A: We are much aware of this weakness. We hope somebody can help to change the code, so that unnecessary savings for items unchanged are avoided. The only thing you can do, is to erase the exemplifying illustrations (e.g. Family), if you havent allready done it. And of course you can also reduce the frequency of automatic savings - in the preferences menu - if conditions around your use is rather stable.

Q: I have downloaded the program to my computer, but I have not suceeded in installing the fonts.

What shall I do ?

A : If you are using OS 9 the fonts should go into: "System Folder/Fonts"

If you are using OSX the fonts should go into /users/yourusername/library/fonts.

If your are using Windows the fonts should go into  /Windows/Fonts.

Restart your computer in all cases. ___________________________________________________________________________

Q: I dont see the buttons for the memo-fields, which I understand should appear at the bottom of the mainwindow?  What has gone wrong? 

A:  They may be hidden by the Dock (in Mac) og Task-bar (in windows). You should  regulate the general setting for Dock/Taskbar  to "Auto-hide"

Q: Buttons, e.g for the memo-fields, tend to be activated , some times twice, without my clicking. What goes wrong?

A: This happens, if you have "tapping" enabled for your touch-pad. It can be disabled through a control-panel

Q: The time-indexing of the diary seems messed-up with AM&PM clock function. Is this a fault in the program?

A: No, but the program expects a 24-hour time format. You can adjust your computer to this through a time control-panel __________________________________________________________________________

Q: Several glyphs dont show a pictogram, although I have loaded the fonts, - and many other glyphs appear as they should

A: We have an annoying problem there: The Windows operating system can not accept all the ASCII positions, which Macintosh accepts, and we have started out from Macintosh. We shall try to solve this problem during summer 2006, and then offer a revised fontset.
